  • The incumbent (a) arranges consultant contracts and travel of representatives in connection with yearly sessions; (b) fulfils the responsibilities of the secretariat regarding the programme budget, monitoring of the programme of work, expenditure certification and budget/programme performance reporting and administers its human resources; (c) provides general administration and office management support; (d) assists in the finalization of detailed scientific documentation (tables and figures) for scrutiny at the annual sessions of the Committee; and (e) directly assists the Secretary of the Committee in drafting of correspondence and papers of a non-routine nature and raising awareness of the Committee's work (preparing briefings and promotional activities and materials).
